- preamp
  - measure noise temperature
  - might be shack mounted - do a measurement to characterize coax loss (can do this with Bird 10C)
  - Look at the Vectronics VEC-1402DK instruction manual and see if it is a suitable shack-end device for this.

- QRO:  6 in 300 "times 50" linear
  - 75 Watt Linear Kit and might modify it with an inboard, switchable preamp.  Manufacturer has other components, QST 2004 April, p. 124.
  - AR² preamps

- Second DSP-10 and pads for in-lab tests.
